About Us

Safety Management and WHS Audit were inspired by the observation of hazards across several industries. Risk mitigation is often ignored or treated with indifference, resulting in panic when incidents occur or near-misses are encountered. Workers and their families are increasingly less tolerant of the risks that might lead to an injury. Government Regulators are holding employers and the management of organisations responsible for injuries to people.

Organisations need to regularly review their workplace safety environment to support their regulatory obligations under WorkSafe legislation and their Public Liability Insurance policies.

It is often the unnoticed hazards that eventually cause harm to people, assets, or the organisation's reputation. Whilst a safety audit conducted by an external auditor may not detect all possible risks, it will certainly enhance the safety within the organisation and present a safety-awareness culture and perception.

Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (Qld) Section 46 states that, “an employer is legally liable for compensation for injury sustained by a worker employed by the employer". Whilst there are several legal defenses against negligence claims, it is important for organisations to reduce hazards as much as is practicable, to reduce their legal risk,  and to uphold their moral obligation to their workers, customers, and the general public.
